Imagination is a strange creature. It sneaks up on us like a thief in the night to fill our minds with odd, yet wonderful thoughts and images. Children with their carefree ways allow this creature free reign as they chase after it, watching large boxes turn into castles while towels become capes that transform them into their favorite heroes. Adults fear this feral beast, hiding it away from the light to don't allow it to grow, believing they must put away their childish ways. A few dare to listen as it prowls within its cage, lashing out to turn the mundane to marvelous.

My friends say I have a wild imagination. I leave that question to you to answer. This image filled my mind the moment I saw Tasastocks' lovely giraffe picture.

I've always love Dali's work, with his long-legged graceful animals. Of course, I'm in no way comparing, my work to his, but simply hope he'd like my humble homage to his style.
